THE STORY OF SIMPLE PALM ANGLES : T-SHIRT
IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS LINEN

But back to our “T-shirts”: in 1904, the Cooper Underwear company began to actively advertise the type of underwear worn over the head. According to the advertising concept, this item of intimate wardrobe was intended for bachelors: its slogan was: “No pins, no buttons - no needles and no threads!”
In other words, the message was this: we have created for you a thing in which the button will not come off and the clasp will not break - you do not have to sew anything on and this thing does not know demolition.
And finally, after almost ten years, the T-shirt was wormed its way into the US Navy: it was very comfortable: it fit nicely to the body, was easy to wash and dried quickly. She was worn, as before, like underwear and put on under the military uniform of sailors.
A little later, all the main charms of the T-shirt were appreciated by the soldiers of the First World War, and then, in the period between the two wars, farmers and factory workers, miners and miners fell in love. The rapid development of knitwear production also contributed to its popularization.
Although it arose at the end of the 18th century, it palm angels became large-scale precisely at the beginning of the 20th. At this time, not only the Americans, but also the Europeans realized that knitwear production is more profitable than weaving. And thin jersey was ideal for tailoring body-hugging "T-shirts".
